Posse-GO, 2022
Study for a family chapel on a farm in Posse-GO.
This small building has two main objectives: to provide shade to a small covered space for the local community and to serve as a vertical landmark in a predominantly horizontal landscape. We used the “golden rectangle” related to the golden ratio (or “divine proportion”) in the relationship between the dimensions of each part of the building. It is a windowless space, a characteristic that allows for permanent natural ventilation.
