The renovation of this apartment in SQN 107 sought to preserve features of the original 1965 project, designed by Mayumi Watanabe and Sérgio Lima, and adapt some of its spaces to the new functional needs of the residents. One of the significant changes was the change in the position of the kitchen, with the inclusion of an office closer to the bedroom area. The new kitchen, repositioned and integrated into the living room through a metal frame that allows it to be closed, was covered in 15x15cm white tiles, typical of the period of construction. The original ceramic floor was restored and maintained in the hallway, living room, kitchen and service area. The bedrooms had floors covered in solid guaiuvira wood and received cabinets in freijó wood laminate. We restored the original solid concrete walls in the living room, bedrooms and bathrooms.
