Located in Superquadra 105 of the South Wing in Brasília, built between 1957 and 1960 by IAPI, its buildings were designed by the architect Hélio Uchôa, and have a rear façade with ceramic cobogós that resemble the set of Parque Guinle in Rio de Janeiro. One of the objectives of the project was to eliminate the existing compartmentalization between the social area and the kitchen positioned at the back of the apartment. Thus, we obtained an integrated space, with the possibility of natural cross ventilation through metal frames with glass, which allows its opening. The large room divided into 3 environments has a large frame from end to end. We exposed the original structure of concrete beams and pillars that was embedded in the walls that were removed. The wooden parquet floor, also original, has been restored.
